Pilot guide

From zero to first transmission — everything you need to fly on BloxATC.

01

Install BloxATC Player

Download the official Windows installer from our Download page. BloxATC Player is the hub for Radio, FPL, blox24 map, charts, and verification.

Go to Download
02

Link Roblox & Discord

Sign in with your BloxATC account, then open Settings → Account. Link Roblox (for spawn & group rank) and Discord (community features). Both are required before spawn.

Join our Roblox group — membership is required for oral ATC verification.

03

Pass oral ATC verification

In Settings → Pilot rank, start the oral quiz. Each question describes your situation — respond with correct phraseology over PTT (e.g. request takeoff, contact tower).

STT is tuned for real speech; speak clearly with your callsign. After passing, your account is marked verified for spawn.

04

File a flight plan

Open the FPL tab. Enter callsign, aircraft type, origin, destination, route, cruise altitude, and squawk. Use quick presets for VOBL local flights.

An active FPL unlocks spawn in Roblox. You can use Radio without an FPL — COM works on any frequency once signed in.

05

Open Radio & transmit

Press R or click 📻 Radio. Click inside the Radio window to unlock audio, then hold PTT and speak with your callsign first.

Configure mic and PTT bindings in Settings → Radio & mic. AI ATC assists when human controllers are offline.

06

Spawn in Roblox & fly

With Roblox linked, verification passed, and an active FPL — spawn in the BloxATC experience. Tune COM to the appropriate frequency and follow charts for VOBL.

Track nearby traffic on blox24 in Player or in your browser.
